The Autoscope OBD-II Scan Tool is a wireless app that helps auto-mechanics read "codes" within a vehicle and diagnose its problems in a much more efficient manner.

While the product and app stays the same, the rebrand reflects a modern, sleek approach that highlights the product's function over flair. The app's User Experience has also been revamped to become more usable for newer auto-mechanics, the design of the User Interface is a reflection of older OBD-II scan tools from before, but with a modern update.

This is a school project that was mentor-guided with Susan Lee, from HCL Technologies.

Reintroduced with a cool, sleek aesthetic reminiscent of classic automobile brands, Autoscope shifts gears while retaining their brand integrity through reliability, performance-based, and forward-thinking.

To begin, the scan tool must be inserted into the vehicle's OBD-II dash port. The whereabouts of the port depends on the make of the vehicle.

The user experience is similar to its previous incarnation, but with a few added features and an interface reminiscent of older 8-bit screens reminiscent of older scan tool UI.
