Fellow student Angela Schmold and I were tasked to develop a self-care kit that helps people de-stress during air travel.
Based on our own personal fears and experiences, we conducted a survey regarding air travels and questioned how people would cope with their air flight anxiety. Further research went into what tools were used to cope with their fear of flying.
Flight Anxiety Relief Kit
The kit has a curated set of items including a stress ball, sleeping mask, chewing gum, flash cards, and a voucher for a free app. Each item gives a different kind of relief from air flight anxiety.
Website and App
The kit comes with a downloadable app that contains flight facts and other fun activities to calm the mind. The website has an interactive landing page, has information that diminishes people’s fears of flying, and an online kit order function.
